Terms of Service

These terms apply to Drawing Blanks, including our website, apps, puzzles, Challenges, and head-to-head (H2H) features, operated by Summit Rhode LLC ("we," "us"). By using the service, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are under the age of legal adulthood, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms. Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Permission to play

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for non-commercial entertainment. Our software, branding, and original game content belong to us or our licensors. Rights in player-created content remain with its owners.

Player-created puzzles and sharing

You retain ownership of content you submit, including puzzle titles and answers. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit and share it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service, deliver it to participants, and review safety reports, including through our service providers.

This license lasts while we hold the content for those purposes, including necessary backups, legal compliance, and handling reports. Deactivating a Challenge does not recall copies or screenshots already shared. Invite links can be forwarded; do not treat them as confidential. Do not publish another person's private information without permission.

Community rules and moderation

We do not allow objectionable content or abusive behavior, including harassment, bullying, hate, threats, sexual exploitation, sexually explicit content, disclosure of private information, impersonation, spam, or infringement of others' rights. These rules cover usernames, puzzles, invitations, and other uses of the service.

Do not cheat, exploit bugs, automate gameplay to gain an unfair advantage, manipulate scores or purchases, access another account, or disrupt the service. We may screen submissions using automated tools and review reported content. Screening can make mistakes and does not guarantee that all content is appropriate.

Report a Challenge using Report Puzzle, or contact drawingblanks.summitrhode@gmail.com about content, conduct, or rights concerns. We may reject or remove content, deactivate Challenges, correct results or rewards, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts for violations or to protect the service. Contact us if you believe an action was mistaken.

Challenges, H2H, and results

Participation, deadlines, scoring, eligibility, and rewards follow the rules shown in the app. Invitations may be declined or expire. Connectivity, interruptions, and technical faults can affect play and result submission. We may correct invalid results or cancel affected competitions. Rankings and availability are not guaranteed. Gameplay rewards have no cash value; the service does not authorize cash wagering or betting.

Purchases, Plus, and virtual items

Prices, included benefits, billing periods, and applicable limits are shown before purchase. Gems and other virtual items are licensed for use in the game, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be sold or transferred outside supported game features. One-time gem purchases are separate from subscriptions.

If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription, it renews at the disclosed price and interval until canceled through the store or billing provider used to subscribe. Manage or cancel it through that provider's subscription controls. Deleting the app or your Drawing Blanks account does not by itself cancel a subscription. Refunds are subject to the applicable store or billing provider's process and your statutory rights; contact us for help with missing purchases.

Features, content, and virtual rewards may change as the game evolves, subject to applicable law and rights relating to paid purchases. Nothing here removes mandatory refund or consumer rights.

Advertising and third parties

Advertisements, including optional rewarded ads, may be available. Ad rewards depend on satisfying the displayed requirements and successful completion verification. Availability can vary. Third-party ads, stores, and linked services have their own terms; their inclusion does not mean we endorse their content.

Availability and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service. These limitations do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact
