Explore Drawing Blanks

A themed word search with a logic twist. Find the words, connect the tiles, and make the blanks count.

How it plays

Every puzzle has a theme and a grid of letter tiles. Drag through neighboring tiles to spell each answer. Blank tiles add no letter, but they link letters together, so the challenge is finding the words and a route that fits them all. Every puzzle is worth up to 1,000 points, split between moves and blanks left, with time counting toward part of the score on the Daily and Challenges.

Find your next puzzle

A new Daily arrives every midnight Eastern Time, and you can play it without an account. Compare scores with friends or everyone, share how you did, and catch up on days you missed in the Daily Archive. For more, start with the 50 levels in the Starter Pack, then browse themed packs like Travel, Cooking and Animals.

Challenge your friends

Invite a friend to a Head-to-Head (H2H) match, or turn your own words into a Challenge. Publishing a Challenge costs 500 gems, and players compare results on its leaderboard.

Create with care

Choose words you have permission to share. Keep personal information out of titles and answers, and follow our community rules. Anyone with a Challenge link can forward it. Use Report Puzzle if you come across inappropriate Challenge content.

Optional extras

Drawing Blanks is free to play. Drawing Blanks+ removes ads, opens the prior 90 days of the Daily Archive, and includes five free Challenge publications a day. Gems, hints and expansion packs are sold separately, and you can choose to watch rewarded ads for extra gems. Check the app and checkout for current prices and subscription details.
